July 2002! Abey Emilio is here and ready to take on the world! 

Due around 8/20/2002, he got impatient and instead arrived a month early!  

Vital Statistics: 

7-21-02 at 0633 Hrs. 
5 lb. 13 oz; 19 inches.

Actually, he got started on his grand debut around July 10th. So there were some tense moments while the whole family and the staff at Kaiser Hospital convinced him to wait a little longer. 

Abey Emilio spent a few days in intensive care and needed a bit of assistance with breathing at first.  But soon both Mom and baby were home, and doing very well indeed.
