The ABEYWORLD is a blockchain-based virtual world that allows users to build their own tools, games, content, markets, and businesses. Land PLOTs (known as PLOTs) in ABEYWORLD may be purchased by the individual Community Members, giving them full control over their creations. PLOTs are NFTs created by Smart Contract, that guarantee Digital Ownership Rights.

The project uses smart contracts to create NFTs giving you Digital Ownership Rights. An NFT or nonfungible token is a non-duplicable digital certificate that represents unique Digital Ownership of an asset, in this case your PLOT in ABEYWORLD is an NFT.
How does it work?
Aquire
In the ABEYWORLD, users are able to create a social experience in a world with an economy driven by PLOT ownership, and a dynamic ecosystem, all built on the ABEYCHAIN. ABEYWORLD introduces Land PLOTs as a functional digital asset on the blockchain.
Build
Your PLOT is an NFT that is an asset in ABEYWORLD. PLOT is non-fungible. Every PLOT has a unique set of (X,Y) coordinates in the ABEYWORLD. The value of PLOT is based on its location, adjacency to other PLOTs, in areas of business, and in desirable locations.
Grow
PLOTs are organized based on the proximity, with the most valuable land closest to the City Center. PLOTs are available on a first come first serve basis. Developers and other content creators may purchase PLOTs to build on, and to reach their target audience. PLOTs may also be further organized into themed communities based on common interests.
ABEY TOKEN
What is the Abey Token?
The ABEY token is the exclusive digital asset that serves as the unit of exchange for all financial transactions as payment for goods and services in the ABEYWORLD. In an effort to fully decentralize the protocol, the ABEYWORLD has transferred all governance to a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). The DAO gives users control over the platform and protocols by vote. Voting power is based on the assets they hold. Each ABEY token provides one unit of voting power and each PLOT token provides a minimum of 2000 units of voting power. The DAO will vote on various policy updates, PLOT designations, disputes, and all fees including marketplace transactions, or whatever that is most important to the community.

In an effort to fully decentralize the protocol, the ABEYWORLD transfers the control of the smart contracts to a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO). The DAO gives users control over protocol changes by voting with the assets they hold. Each ABEY provides one unit of voting power and each PLOT token provides 2000 units of voting power. The DAO will vote on policy updates, PLOT auctions, the fees on marketplace transactions, or whatever that is important to the community. The DAO also votes on members of the Security Advisory Board which is made up of five members and supports the security of the protocol.

In the ABEYWORLD Community Marketplace, a number of tools and other items are available for you to purchase and use in games such as Gold Rush and Lumber Yard to produce building materials. Once your tools are used up, come back and re-equip yourself. The marketplace is here to help you build your dream empire in ABEYWORLD! In the future many other items will be available for purchase. ABEYWORLD Members
will be able to create their own items and place them for sale in their own place of business, or in the ABEYWORLD Community MARKETPLACE-INFO.
